Medical and Health Courses Without NEET in Tamil Nadu 2026
Published: 19 August 2026. Not every medical or health course requires NEET. If your NEET score is not sufficient or you prefer a different path, these courses are worth exploring.
Courses that generally do not require NEET
- B.Sc Paramedical (Lab Technology, MLT, Radiology, OT Technology): Admission through merit in 12th Biology marks in many institutions — verify each institution
- B.Pharm: NEET required for government quota in some states — check Tamil Nadu current rules
- GNM Nursing (diploma): Generally merit-based, not NEET — verify
- B.Sc Optometry, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy: Many private colleges admit on 12th Biology merit
- BMLT / DMLT (Medical Lab Tech): Mostly merit-based
