Set up notifications
- Register your mobile number on the TNEA portal and keep it active
- SMS alerts are sent for important phases — ensure your number is correct on the application
- Set a phone reminder to check the portal every morning during active counselling phases
Family delegation
Identify one person (student or parent) who will be responsible for monitoring the portal daily. Divide the task: one person checks the portal, another keeps documents ready. Do not assume someone else is tracking.
