TNEA Round 2 joining deadline: report by 13 August 2026
Published: 12 August 2026. Today (12 August 2026) is the last full working day before the TNEA Round 2 joining window closes on 13 August. DoTE has already published Round 2 provisional allotment. Families who clicked Accept and Join, or who must report after upward / tentative orders, should treat tomorrow as a hard deadline unless the login screen shows a later time.
What this news means today
A seat on the allotment letter is not finished admission. You still have to report with originals, pay the required fee, and collect acknowledgement. If you do not complete joining by the official window, that seat can be cancelled and later offered to students waiting on upward movement.

- Parents holding original certificates and fee receipts
- 7.5% government-school quota students with joining orders
Clear next steps (do this in order)
- Login at tneaonline.org and download the latest allotment / joining order — do not use a WhatsApp PDF.
- Read whether you must go to the allotted college or a TFC.
- Pack originals + photocopies + 2–4 passport photos + Aadhaar.
- Carry fee payment mode accepted by that campus (card / UPI / DD as notified).
- Reach before 5 PM on 13 August; keep extra travel time.
- Take photos of every receipt and the joining acknowledgement.
- Only after the portal and college both show joined, stop worrying about rumours.
