Documents Required for MBBS Abroad Admission 2026
Published: 19 August 2026. Before you can apply for MBBS in Russia, Georgia, Philippines, or any other country, you need specific documents. This guide lists them clearly.
Standard documents required for most countries
- NEET 2026 admit card and score card (mandatory from NMC India)
- 12th mark sheet and passing certificate
- 10th mark sheet (as proof of date of birth)
- School Transfer Certificate
- Valid Indian passport (minimum 5 years validity recommended — check specific country requirement)
- Passport size photos (typically 10-20; some universities specify white background, specific size)
- Birth certificate (sometimes)
Apostille requirement
Many countries require your educational certificates to be apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) India. This is an authentication process. Get 10th and 12th certificates apostilled before applying. It takes 5-15 working days.
Country-specific documents
- Russia: May require medical fitness certificate and HIV test report
- Georgia: Similar to Russia; background check sometimes required
- Philippines: Specific format medical certificate; police clearance sometimes required
